San Antonio Jazz Collective

The San Antonio Jazz Collective presents multiple concerts each season, performing a diverse repertoire that spans the history of jazz. Programs feature everything from swing-era classics and big band favorites to bebop, Latin jazz, contemporary works, funk, fusion, and original compositions. Each performance is designed to entertain audiences while showcasing the creativity, energy, and artistry that define the jazz tradition.

The San Antonio Jazz Collective is proudly deliberately diverse and fully inclusive, bringing together musicians from all walks of life who share a passion for jazz. Members include college students, music educators, professional musicians, active-duty and retired military personnel, and dedicated community musicians from throughout the San Antonio region. The ensemble provides an opportunity for talented musicians to perform challenging literature in a collaborative, high-quality musical environment.
