The San Antonio Performing Arts Alliance invites musicians from across South Texas to be part of an exciting new season of inspiring performances, musical growth, and lasting friendships. Whether you're a current music educator, college student, professional musician, active or retired military musician, or a dedicated community performer, you'll find a welcoming home in one of the region's premier volunteer concert bands.

San Antonio Community Wind Ensemble: Rehearsals begin Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. in the Auditorium at Texas A&M University–San Antonio. Our 2026–2027 season features five dynamic concerts showcasing advanced wind band literature, powerful orchestral transcriptions, contemporary masterworks, and audience favorites—all presented free to the community.

San Antonio Jazz Collective: Rehearsals begin Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. in the Classroom Hall Bldg. Room 301 at Texas A&M University–San Antonio. By blending unique styles and experiences, The Collective will create harmonious and captivating performances that resonate with a wide audience.

No audition is required to join the ensemble. We believe great music is built through commitment, collaboration, and a shared passion for performance. High school students are welcome and are asked to complete a brief audition to ensure appropriate placement.

We are deliberately diverse and fully inclusive, bringing together musicians from every walk of life to create exceptional musical experiences for our community.
